Data transmission and safeguarding of data
United Navigation uses a secure online transfer method, what is referred to as Secure Socket Layer (SSL) transfer, for processing your personal details. This transfer method is supported by most browsers. All information which is transferred using this secure method is encrypted before it is sent to us. This ensures that no unauthorised party is able to make use of your details.
All customer information is stored on secure servers which are inaccessible to unauthorised parties and are protected against external access by a firewall.
We store and use your personal details to allow us to process your order and any possible complaints. We use your e-mail address to provide you with further specific information about your order.
If you request it, our Falk Shopping Newsletter will be sent to the address you specify. You can of course stop receiving the newsletter at any time.
If you are a new customer with us, our further procedure is that you then create a customer account before you place your first order. We ask you for your personal details, e.g. your name, your e-mail address and your shipment address. We store these details to ensure that in future you can place orders easily and conveniently. You can view your customer account and check the status of orders at any time.
Once a customer account has been created, whether you are a new customer or a regular customer with us, you can access the details which have been stored during the ordering process. Additional details which are required for certain methods of payment such as paying by credit card to process the order are not stored on a permanent basis.
Passing details on to third parties
We do not pass on your personal details, including your e-mail address, to third parties. An exception to this rule is service partners that require further details to process your order. These include our logistics provider, transport couriers and our contractually affiliated partners providing customer services. Details are transferred to service partners in line with the provisions of the German Data Protection Act (BDSG) and the information transferred is confined to the necessary minimum.

Legal foundations
Personal details are collected and processed exclusively within the framework of the statutory provisions of the German Data Protection Act (BDSG) and the German Information and Teleservices Data Protection Act (TDDSG).
